W.C. Dennis letters, 1852.

Letter to W. C. Dennis dated 11 September 1852, from E. H. Kelly of Mobile, Ala., urging shipment of salt because of a shortage due to flood. The flood was most likely caused by the Great Mobile Hurricane of August 1852 that flooded the Congaree River. Letter to W. C. Dennis dated 17 October 1852, from E. J. Gomez, merchant, of New Orleans, La., recommending Bridgewater paint for land or sea use.
